CLAN FARQUHARSON 2020 VIRTUAL GATHERING

VIRTUAL COLOUR PARTY

Our Chief, Captain Alwyne Farquharson of Invercauld MC, is also Chieftain of the Ballater Highland Games. Each year on Games Day, the Chief enters the showground of Monaltrie Park in Ballater accompanied by a Colour Party, composed of a Bannerman and 8 attendees, four of whom are invited to participate by the President of Clan Farquharson UK. This year, exceptionally, we propose to create a Virtual Colour Party and to raise funds for "Raising the Standard" the Braemar Castle restoration appeal. We therefore invite Members of Clan Farquharson UK and of our affiliated overseas societies to bid to participate and the 9 highest bids will win their place in the 2020 Virtual Colour Party. Entries must be accompanied by a full length photograph of the entrant in smart Highland Dress.

Bidding opens Monday 10th AUGUST 2020 and closes Sunday 23rd August 5pm BST

Register your Name, create an Alias and submit a full length photo in Highland Dress along with your Donation pledge. The photos of the top 9 donors will be "Photoshopped" together as the Chief's 2020 Virtual Colour Party, the top donor receiving the honour to carry the Chief's Colours. All selected will receive a digital copy of the final image. Open exclusively to active Members of our affiliated Clan Farquharson societies.

All proceeds will go towards "Raising the Standard," the fundraising appeal for the restoration of Braemar Castle.
